Biography

Revan was a male Force-sensitive human born long ago in the galaxy far, far away. At some point, he was taken into the Jedi Order to be trained as a Jedi Knight where in this time he came to become a close friend with a man named Alek. In that time, the galaxy was in the grips of conflict with the Mandalorians who were attacking the Galactic Republic. During the Mandalorian Wars, the Jedi were noted to had not participated in the conflict with their inaction a source of division by some within the Order. Chief among them was Revan and his friend Alek who led others as they went rogue from the Order and went to fight against the Mandalorians.

A year later, Darth Revan and Darth Malak returned to Republic space where the pair headed a massive invasion fleet to conquer the Republic. Naming themselves Sith, they declared war against the Galactic Republic along with a desire unite the galaxy under one ruler.

As a Force-sensitive, he had the ability to tap into the energy field that was the Force. He received further training whilst under the Jedi though he eventually came to leave their ranks.

  • Revan was voiced by actor Rino Romano in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.
  • In Star Wars: The Old Republic, the character was voiced by actor Jeff Bennett where he was canonically debuted as being male
  • The character's gender differed in Knights of the Old Republic as it depended on the player's choice but it was later revealed that canonically the character was male.
  • In Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, the character was referenced by name that was provided to one of the Sith Troopers battalions on Exegol.
