Sollgel Island
From Multiversal Omnipedia
Sollgel Island was a remote island where Professor Kusumi and his team set up their research station, and conducted climate conversion experiments. In addition to this, Sollgel Island was notable for a number of other reasons, not the least of which is that it was where the egg of Godzilla's son, Minya, was buried, and where Matsumiya, Dr. Tadashi came with his daughter Saeko (Riko) shortly after World War II. The island was also home to a number of gigantic insects, including Kamacuras (Gimantis) and Kumonga (Spiga). Sollgel was later frozen when Professor Kusumi and his team successfully completed their experiments and changed the climate of the island, causing it to snow.
