Steeljaw was one of the Autobot cassettes, whose robot form is a mechanical lion. Steeljaw is known for his tracking skills.

Steeljaw was ultimately destroyed by a Cobra-rebuilt Megatron.

Steeljaw was apparently rebuilt, as he was in the Autobot army during the Quintesson attack on Autobot City.
