History

The T-1000 was an advanced series of Terminator that were constructed from liquid metal and developed by Skynet.

An advanced prototype of the T-1000 was sent back in time to the year 1994 with the express purpose of eliminating John Connor when he was a teenager. In an effort to stop the assassin, the resistance came to find and capture a T-800 Terminator unit which was sent back in time to protect Connor.

Overview

This machine was described as being amore advanced model of Terminator whose body was composed of 'liquid metal' with this being a type of mimetic metal allow called mimetic poly-alloy. It allowed the Terminator to rapidly change its form making it a shapeshifter with near-perfect mimicry capabilities and able to rapidly recover from most forms of damage. This also allowed it to quickly liquefy itself and assume innovative forms to aid in its mission such as being able to fit through narrow openings, morphing limbs into solid metal tools or bladed weapons, walk through barriers such as prison bars, flattening itself or mimicking the pattern and texture of the ground to allow it to hide or ambush targets. Another ability was for parts of its form separating from its body allowing it to use thes s surveillance tools to spy on targets before integrating it back into its form or alternatively form weapons such as spears that it could throw at a target.
