History

The T-3000 were a series of advanced Terminators that were developed by Skynet. They were created in an alternate future timeline whete Skynet attempted to extetminate the remnants of mankind. By the end of the war, Skynet attempted to create a new kind of infiltration unit able to infect humans subjects. The goal of the project was to create machines that could think like mankind. However, the experiments failed as the human subjects went insane and died. By 2029, the Tech-Com human resistance forces launched a final battle to destroy Skynet. Sensing possible defeat, the artificial intelligence initiated multiple contigency plans such as sending Terminators back in time to kill Sarah Connor to prevent the birth of John Connor. Another initiative was downloading it's intelligence into a Terminator infiltrator that masked itself as one of John Connors resistance fighters. As Tech-Com assaulted Skynets core, they believed that they had vanquished the machines and John Connor sent Kyle Reese back in time to save his mother and ensure his own birth. During the process, the Skynet infiltrator killed the human fighters and infected John Connor with nanotechnology to turn him into a T-3000.

In the aftermath, Connor became Skynets greatest weapon and one tasked with ensuring the survival of the artificial intelligence. Thus, the T-3000 was sent back in time to the year 2014 where it was given the task of assisting Cyberdyne Systems with the development of the new Genisys operating system which was in reality Skynet. During this time, he operated as a scientist alongside the heads of Cyberdyne where he developed advanced polyalloy, a quantum fuel reactor and new enhanced code for the Genesys. These events were bringing about the culmination of Genesys and the creation of Skynet.

The unit was ultimately destroyed by 'Pops' when the T-800 kept the T-3000 within the field of the time displacement equipment.

Overview

T-3000 John Connor.

In appearance, this model of Terminator shared a humanoid form being a bipedal form with two limbs and a head. The actual skin was blue in color with their faces resembling a human but lacking a nostril. They were constructed from machine phased-matter that infected organic hosts where it restructured and rebuilt human tissue on a cellular level for maximum combat utility. The unit described itself as being neither machine nor human but rather something more making it a hybrid entity. A T-3000 were able to morph their bodies apoearance allowing them to create clothing for themselves or reconstitute flesh burnt away from a fire. Alternatively, they were able to morph their arms as blades in order to spear through targets to kill them or shape their fingers to be sharp enoughh to cut skin. This mimetic ability extended further to being able to shapeshift their form allowing them to appear as other people including another gender. As infiltrators, they could mimic the voices of others.

As such, their nature meant that they were resistant to projectile weapon fire. Weapon fire simply passed through their bodies with any wounds being repaired in an instant. Blood could be seen from wounds but it turned into machine matter that re-entered the body. A T-3000 could also to disassemble into its phase machine matter component appearing as a blue cloud of dust to pass through obstacles or reorientation it's body quickly. This meant they could walk through gunfire and sustain fire yet suffer no degradation in function. Similar to other Terminators, they had above human strength and were stronger than previous Terminator series able to overpower them. In addition, they had the ability to stick to surfaces allowing them to walk up vertical surfaces.

This effectively could turn a human being into a Terminator and, as their bodies were replaced on a cellular level, it meant that there was no way of undoing the process or curing it. As such, their origins meant that had the most human personality and able to operate with emotions. It was noted that they were able to experience pain though it was not known whether this was actual pain or a memory of pain from their lives as humans.

One noted weakness was the units matter coherence as this was maintained by a magnetic field and disruption of this field could trap them. Disruptions operated by preventing the phase machine matter from scattering.
