- Gwen Stacy was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko where she made her first appearance in Amazing Spider-Man v1 #31 (December, 1965).
Alternate Versions
- In Spider-Man Unlimited v2 #4 (2000), an alternate reality version of the character was shown to reside on Counter-Earth based on the cartoon series. This version was an inhabitant of the world populated by the High Evolutionary's Beastials that were the ruling elite whilst mankind were second-class citizens.
