Biography
The Living Brain was an advanced electronic computer designed by Dr. Petty on behalf of the International Computing Machines Corporation. Upon his creation, the machine was taken to a technology demonstration at Midtown High School. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #8)

Its computer had the ability to think that contained more knowledge than any other brain be it human or mechanical. Thus, he contained a vast storehouse of information allowing him to answer questions fed to him. The Living Brain was unlike the brain of a normal human as all data fed to it was never forgotten.
