Biograph
Skarlet was a female creation created under orders of Shao Kahn the Emperor of the realm of Outworld. She was created because the emperor trusted only those fighters that were his own creation. One account held that she was created when blood was gathered from warriors across countless battlefields which was fused together through sorcery in order to create a highly effective enforcer. However, another account said that she was an orphan and a starving wretch until Shao Kahn anointed her in blood. She came to be an expert tracker and was sent to hunt down enemies of her master. The Emperor then appointed to her a new mission which was to discover the true intentions of Quan Chi and kill him if he planned to betray Shao Kahn. She was unable to discern the sorcerers true intentions and thus failed to prevent the death of Kahn during the invasion of Earthrealm.
When Kronika altered time, a version of Skarlet was drawn from the past alongside other slain warriors. She accompanied Shao Kahn and the others as they retreated through the portal held open by D'Vorah as she brought them into an alliance with Kronika.
