Biography

Amora was a female Asgardian goddess who was native to the realm of Asgard. (Journey into Mystery v1 #103)

In Asgard, the All-Father Odin was displeased at his son Thor Odinson's dalliance with the mortal Jane Foster. It was then that Loki suggested that maybe if Thor met someone more beautiful then he would abandon his pursuit of the human woman. Alternate Versions

  • In Thor v2 #68 (2003), an alternate version of Amora was shown to reside in the world of the Reigning that was designated as Earth-3515. When Thor became the All-Father, he decided to move his people to Earth and enforce his brutal reign as Lord Thor of Earth. During this time, Amora declared her love for him and he accepted her in turn with her becoming Thor's wife along with bearing him a son named Magni.
