Meliodas (Japanese: メリオダス, Hepburn: Meriodasu) was a male member of the Demon Clan where he was the son of the Demon King and the brother of Zeldris.

Due to his short stature, he often confused for being a child. He was once known as Meliodas the Love (慈愛のメリオダス, Jiai no Meriodasu) when he headed the Ten Commandments.
He was the son of the Demon King(魔神王) who was the progenitor and leader of the Demon Clan. Meliodas also had a brother who greatly resembled him and was named Zeldris.
