Born in the realm of Haizlip, the creature that became known as Gog was given to a prince as a pet alongside another of his kind that was given to a princess. During this time, the Haizli fell into a civil war with the loyalist population being forced to evacuate and the pet Gog was placed on an evacuation ship.
