History
The Shadow Fighters were a team of superpowered beings and trained fighters that were formed by Amanda Waller with the express purpose of eliminating Eclipso. (Eclipso v1 #11) This came after the entity was responsible for taking control of a small South American country called Parador. An earlier team consisting of Bruce Gordon, Mona Bennet and Cave Carson were sent to investigate the island. However, they were attacked by Eclipso's forces with Carson's legs being broken where he was left on outside the border of the country. The Creeper along with Bruce and Mona came to barely escape from the incident.
