Eddie Brock was a male human who was formerly host to an alien Symbiote named Venom though came to purge himself of the entity. In time, he came to be homeless but felt free from the control of the creature where he wandered the streets of New York City. Brock was at a F.E.A.S.T. centre as he lived as a homeless man when the site was attacked by the Thunderbolts at the direction of Norman Osborn.
