Undeterred, Nnoitra uses Sonído to move in front of him and asks Ulquiorra to not get so testy as he is only asking if everything is going well. Ulquiorra could not comprehend why Nnoitra really cares as it's trivial, but tells him not to worry as Orihime has been under Aizen's spell even before she arrived in Hueco Mundo. Nnoitra then questions if Aizen has used Kyōka Suigetsu as usual, though Ulquiorra assures him that this situation was not that big of an issue to warrant its use. He further explains that the moment that she was invited there, multiple psychological cages were put in place, by putting her friends in danger she was forced into a situation where she couldn't refuse and made her surrender. Following that, they gave her the 12 hour period to say goodbye to one of her friends. Nnoitra still doesn't get the significance of the psychological cage that is being spoken about. Ulquiorra further explains that she is basically set to believe in her own mind that they are not the enemy and then she will follow them of her own free will. He also makes note that allowing her to say goodbye to a friend of her own choosing will allow her to leave evidence of her free will in the event so she will be looked as a traitor to her friends. Finally understanding, Nnoitra states that plan is well thought out and he would expect nothing less of Aizen, though Ulquiorra corrects him stating that such things to Aizen are nothing more than a game. If she is trapped then that is good, if she is not then that is okay as well, as either way she does not have the power to escape from Hueco Mundo or even the will to turn against them. | ||

Biography
Nnoitra Gilga (Japanese: ノイトラ・ジルガ, Hepburn: Noitora Jiruga; Viz: Nnoitora Gilga) was originally a Hollow who came to evolve into an Arrancar. Years ago, he came to join the ranks of the Espada where he held the 8th rank in the organization.
At some point, he was given the task of seeking out Vasto Lorde by Sōsuke Aizen where he was dispatched alongside Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck. This saw him laying waste to an entire colony of Hollows which drew the attention of Nelliel who asked him why he did so as they received no such order. However, Nnoitra said that nothing in their orders went against killing Hollows in the search for Vasto Lordes and that he simply killed rebels as it simply benefited Aizen.
He was present with the other Espada as Wonderweiss Margela was created and as Aizen explained the process of awakening the Hōgyoku from its inert state.
Nnoitra attends Aizen's meeting about Ichigo Kurosaki, Yasutora Sado and Uryū Ishida entering Hueco Mundo to save Orihime Inoue. After Aizen warns the Espada to treat the intruders with caution, Nnoitra comments that they look weak. Tier Harribel warns him that if he had listened to what Aizen just said, he would have heard him state that they should not take the intruders lightly. Overview
Personality and attributes
In appearance, Nnoitra Gilga was a very tall man with a thin and lanky body where he had black hair that hung past his shoulders that concealed the left side of his face. He frequently sported a huge smile that showed his upper teeth and he had a large white eyepatch with one exposed dark gray eye.
An extremely foul-mouthed man, he was shown as being chauvinistic who openly insulted female fighters.
Gilga looked to prove himself to be the absolute strongest of the Espada and did not wish to waste his time killing those he deemed as being weak.
Powers and abilities
As an Arrancar, Nnoitra Gilga was a powerful humanoid with a range of superhuman abilities that were far greater than any Hollow.
This meant that he also possessed a skin of Hierro (鋼皮 (イエロ), Iero; Spanish for "Iron", Japanese for "Steel Skin";Viz "Iron Skin") which was like heavy armor. By condensing his Reiryoku, he created a steel-hard skin strong enough to block a Zanpakutō. Among the Espada, Gilga waas said to hold the strongest Hierro of all Arrancar allowing him to withstand almost any attack with no sign of injury.
It was shown that he wielded his own Zanpakutō (斬魄刀, Soul-Cutter Sword; Viz "Soul Slayer") that was known as Santa Teresa (聖哭螳螂 (サンタ テレサ), Santa Teresa; a common Spanish language name for "Mantis religiosa," or in English, "Praying Mantis," Japanese for "Holy Wailing Praying Mantis"; Viz "Sacred Screaming Praying Mantis").
Due to being an Arrancar, the greater bulk of his power was sealed away in his sword which he could awaken through his Resurrección (帰刃 (レスレクシオン), Resurekushion; Spanish for "Resurrection", Japanese for "Returning Blade"). To release it, he uttered the command Pray (祈れ, inore) where he gathered spiritual energy which formed a yellow aura around him that created a small shockwave.
He came to join the ranks of the Espada where he rose from the ranks as he was 8th in number but came to be 5th in the hierarchy.
