History

After Avengers Tower was sold, the content within the building was moved to the new Avengers headquarters in crates. When Spider-Man and Iron Man battled Regent, Mary Jane Watson decided to help where she decided to wear the Iron Spider armor. (Amazing Spider-Man v4 #15) At some point, the criminal outfitter Ceres managed to acquire the suit and performed some upgrades on it with it being in her arsenal. By this time, Aaron Davis was looking to perform a hit to steal a lot of money and was looking for a gang of supervillains to form. Upon seeing the Iron Spider suit, he bought it from Ceres and used it as he became a costumed supervillain with him taking the name Iron Spider. (Spider-Man v1 #234)
