Biography
Zamasu (ザマス Zamasu) was a male member of the Shinjin race who was native to Universe 10 where he served as the North Kai and was an apprentice to his reality's Supreme Kai Gowasu.
Overview
Personality and attributes
Though a Kai, he was shown to question the worth of mortals and their role in ensuring the prosperity of the universe. He believed them to be lowly beings that only handled problems through repeated cycles of conflict. Thus, he could not comprehend how they were relevant in the balance of the cosmos.
In fact, he was not above killing mortals that attacked him despite his power allowing him to evade their attacks.
Powers and abilities
As a Shinjin, he had the ability to manipulate his ki to achieve a variety of feats such as manipulating energy or giving himself the power of flight.
Among the techniques known to him included:
- Kiai (気き合あい lit. "fighting spirit") : he could unleash his ki to affect the air currents around him thus creating an invisible blast around him to attack foes via this shockwave.
- God Split Cut (神裂斬 Shin Retsuzan) : concentrated of ki into his hands allowed him to create a blade of energy.
A version of him came to use the Super Dragon Balls to switch bodies with Goku and thus gained all the powers of his Saiyan body including its transformations.
