Alison could use her powers in other ways such using sound as a form of echolocation in order to find people. (X-Treme X-Men v2 #4) Dazzler had the ability to actually create light-based holograms of other people though she rarely used this power as she did not feel it was useful and it was hard to accomplish this feat. - Dazzler was created by Tom DeFalco, John Romita, Jr., Louise Simonson and Roger Stern where she made her first appearance in Uncanny X-Men v1 #130 (February, 1980).
Alternate Versions
- In A-Force v2 #5 (2016), an alternate version of Dazzler was shown as an inhabitant of Battleworld on the world designated as Earth-15513. This version was chosen to be a member of the Thor Corps on the planet and enforced the law of God-Emperor Doom with her being given her own mystical hammer called Lightbringer.
