They later emerged where they struck at a pharmaceutical laboratory that was manufacturing a vaccine designed to prevent the X-Gene from manifesting thus preventing the emergence of new Mutants. This brought the Mutant Liberation Front into conflict with the X-Men who arrived on the scene. (Uncanny X-Men v5 #1)
Following the Orchis takeover of Krakoa and the banishment of most of mutantkind on Earth, a new Mutant Liberation Front was formed by Captain Krakoa, whom its members believed to be Cyclops. - Thumbelina : Kristina Anderson was a female Mutant who was able to shrink to minuscule size while proportionally increasing her power and density.
- Rusty Collins : Russell Collins was a young male Mutant with the power of pyrokinesis allowing him to generate fires from his body, primarily through his fists.

Alternate Versions
- In Ultimate X-Men v1 #81 (2007), an alternate version of the Mutant Liberation Front appeared in the Ultimate Marvel reality that was designated as Earth-1610 in the Multiverse. An unnamed, three-faced mutant identifies himself as a member of the Mutant Liberation Front, a mutant-supremacist group, and was killed by a Sentinel.
