Events

• Star Wars (Expanded Universe): c. 3 billion years ago (c. 3,000,000,000 BBY). The Sharu race begins to evolve in the Rafa System. A technologically-advanced race, later described by scholars as "superhumanoids," they construct remarkable buildings and monuments throughout their system. • DC (Pre-Crisis Earth-1), DC (Post-Crisis), DC (Post-Zero Hour): 3 billion years ago. The Anti-Monitor is born on the moon of Qward. The Anti-Monitor grows to conquer Qward and creates the Thunderers and the Shadow Demons. The Monitor is born on the moon of Oa. He and the Anti-Monitor sense each other's existence and fight for a million years, ending with them both being stunned into a temporary stasis. (Crisis on Infinite Earths #7)

• DC (Pre-Crisis Earth-1), DC (Post-Crisis), DC (Post-Zero Hour): 3 billion years ago. The Guardians of the Universe create the Manhunters to patrol and protect the universe. However, the Manhunters eventually rebel, and a war is fought for a thousand years, with the Guardians victorious. Believing that the Manhunters' robotic nature was their key flaw, the Guardians create the Green Lantern Corps- organic beings armed with power rings- to replace them.
