The Evil Warriors were a group of beings that were gathered under the banner of Skeletor and aided him in his goal of conquering Eternia.

2000 series

Keldor came to assemble a band of warriors to serve him as they looked to conquer Eternia and install him to the throne. This led to a surprise attack against the Council of Wisdom and a conflict with Captain Randor along with his guards. At first, Keldor was seemingly defeated when he was disarmed but he used this as an opportunity for a surprise attack to throw a vial of acid at Randor. This though bounced off his shield and splashed onto Keldors face eating away at it. Beast Man came to save Keldor and the Evil Warriors were forced to retreat to the dark side of Eternia. Whilst there, the Heroic Warriors along with the Sorceress helped established the Mystic Wall thus separating Eternia between the Light and Dark Hemisphere. In this time, Evil-Lyn took the injured Skeletor to Hordak's Sanctum where he begged the entrapped mystical warlord to save him so that he could continue with his conquest of Eternia. Hordak's disembodied spirit stated that such a deal would involve a price to which Keldor agreed. Magic then enfused Keldor that transformed him turning his head into a skeletal form as he was given the name Skeletor. In this state, Skeletor then returned to his stronghold at Snake Mountain where he plotted for many years to break the Mystic Wall and resume his conquest of Eternia. Ultimately, he found a means to do so which involved finding the Coradite crystal. Dispatching Mer-Man for the task, the crystal was used to power a device that fired on the Mystic Wall. The weapon did not shatter the wall but rather created enough damage that allowed the Evil Warriors to break it with their combined might. With the Wall shattered, the Evil Warriors now had access to the Light Hemisphere and set out on their long awaited goal of ruling Eternia. At first, Skeletor in disguise sought to find the fate of the Council of Wisdom only to learn that they had vanished since his last encounter. Instead, the lands were ruled by Randor who had been elevated to the status of king and ruled the lands fairly. Thus, Skeletor looked to achieve his long planned revenge against King Randor for both his disfigurement and earlier defeat.
