History

Keystone City

The city later came under assault from the new Rogues led by the Blacksmith who staged an ambush against the Flash. However, the Thinker was making his own move to take over the city. (Flash v2 #185)

After the death of Bart Allen, a large scale funeral was organised at Keystone City in honor of him for being the Flash and the people mourned his demise. (Countdown v1 #43)

It was said to be the self-proclaimed blue collar capital of the United States. Keystone was the sister city of the more affluent Central City with the two being connected by a bridge. (Countdown v1 #43)

Similar to Central City, Keystone shared in its twin's superhero legacy of the Flash being its protector. (Countdown v1 #43)

Three miles outside of Keystone City was the Iron Heights Penitentiary. (The Flash: Iron Heights v1 #1)

  • Keystone City was created by Gardner F. Fox and Harry Lampert where it made its first appearance in Flash Comics v1 #1 (January, 1940).
