Television

  • In The Marvel Super Hero Hour, she made an appearance in The Mighty Thor segment. Her storyline in the episode followed that of her original appearance in the comics where she was the Queen of the Amazons who was formerly involved with Hercules who spurned her afterwards. She would enter into the service of Pluto who was seeking to be free of being the custodian of the netherworld by seeking to trick an immortal to sign the Olympian Contract that passed the custody to them. To accomplish this feat, Pluto decided to target Hercules and disguised himself as a movie director in order to trick Hercules by appealing to his vanity of having a movie of himself. Hippolyta would disguise herself as an actress that caught Hercules attention and he was distracted to the point that he signed the contract whereupon both Pluto as well as Hippolyta revealed their true selves.
