Biography
Charles "Trip" Tucker III
By 2151, he held the rank of commander and was an orbital engineer that was working on the U.S.S. Enterprise that was the first warp 5 ship developed by Earth. A planned exploration mission was being prepared by mankind though the Vulcans did not believe humanity was prepared to encounter other species. However, an incident occurred when a Klingon courier named Klaang crashed on Earth on a mission to reach Qo'noS. Captain Archer convinced Starfleet that the Enterprise could transport the injured Klingon back to the Klingon Empire with Trip conducting the finishing touches for the NX-class vessel to launch from Earth's orbit.
