Android 19

Android 19 (? - May 12, 767) was the penultimate creation of Dr. Gero, a completely loyal bodyguard android designed to replace the rebellious Android 17 and Android 18. Resembling a short, rotund, pale-faced individual in vaguely Chinese clothing, 19 was equipped with energy absorption devices in his palms, enabling him to drain off the life energy of a Z Warrior or that of their attacks.

19's initial purpose was to transfer Gero's brain into the body of Android 20. After that, 19 and 20 went to fulfill the role in history Trunks had originally stated that 17 and 18 would fill- attacking a city on a small island, 9 miles southwest of South City, to attract the attention of Goku and company. 19 engaged the Super Saiyan personally, and was eventually victorious over him- thanks to a combination of the onset of Goku's heart virus and 19's absorbing one of Goku's Kamehameha attacks. Goku was taken away for treatment, but 19 was challenged by Vegeta, now a Super Saiyan himself. He tried to defeat Vegeta by draining his energy, but Vegeta ripped 19's hands off and used his new Big Bang Attack to demolish him once and for all.

19 later returned when Hell (HFIL) was opened thanks to the machinations of Dr. Gero and Dr. Myuu, but was defeated again.

Android 19 never existed in the future timeline of Trunks- he was only constructed in the timelines created when Trunks arrived in the past.
