History

Intergang sought to expand its operation's where they opened a franchise in Bludhaven and had been keeping a low profile at Metropolis. (Action Comics v1 #771)

At some point, Intergang established a presence in Gotham City much to the annoyance of the Penguin who allied himself with Batman to remove their presence in the city. However, Batman himself disappeared in the midst of the crisis involving the Black Glove leading to Cobblepot breaking his ties with Batman for seemingly abandoning him. (Batman and the Outsiders v2 #11) At the Iceberg Lounge, Kirk Langstrom transformed into Man-Bat where he attacked the Intergang people at the location and told them to pass a message to Johnny Stitches namely for them to leave Gotham. In that moment, Vigilante attacked one of the clubs run by the criminal gang and intended to eliminate Stitches himself but was stopped by Spoiler. This was because Spoiler had been watching Intergang in order to find the whereabouts of the now missing Batman. (Batman and the Outsiders v2 #13)

Overview

Within Intergang, they had divisions included Camouflage Squads that used suits that refracted light and used special heat along with sound baffles that rendered them effectively invisible who were virtually undetectable. (Superman v1 #654)

Sigma-Guns were personal weapons given by Apokolips to the criminals among Intergang and it was said that no one could survive a blast from it. (Forever People v1 #1)
