Biography

Titanosaurus (Japanese: チタノザウルス, Hepburn: Chitanozaurusu) was a giant aquatic dinosaur kaiju that was discovered by Dr. Shinji Mafune. Although normally peaceful and not agressive in the least, Titanosaurus was controlled by Mafune through his cyborg daughter, Katsura, and sent to destroy the Interpol submarine Akatsuki. This caught the attention of the black hole aliens, who recruited Mafune and Katsura so that they could have Titanosaurus fight alongside Mechagodzilla against Godzilla.

Thanks to the efforts Akira Ichinose and Yuichi Wakayama, it was discovered that Titanosaurus could not stand supersonic waves. Wakayama then designed a special supersonic ocillator, which was used against Titanosaurus. Titanosaurus was ultimately defeated after being hit multiple times by Godzilla's atomic breath. Seriously injured, he fell back into the sea and was never seen again.

Titanosaurus was an adept swimmer who could breathe underwater. He could also leap high into the air, and use his tail fin to create powerful whirlpools in the water or typhoon-force winds on land.

Personality and attributes

Powers and abilities

Aside from using teeth and claws to fight, Titanosaurus can, by employing his fluke-like tail as a fan, generate winds strong enough to demolish buildings and hurl debris at great velocities. When used in the water, it creates whirlpools powerful enough to completely immobilize submarines, in addition to its use as a high-powered propeller and rudder.
