Biography
Xanadoth
Department of Extranormal Operations agent Veronica Bisette came to acquire the relic holding Xanadoth and was looking to bring it to headquarters for study as it was unlike anything they had encountered before. This was around 3 weeks ago where she was set to meet with Mister Bones only for the D.E.O. headquarters suffer an attack from Leviathan that seemingly destroyed the government agency HQ. In the aftermath, the relic bonded to agent Bisette's arm and saved her life from the destruction at the scene. As a result, Xanadoth came to speak into the human's mind where without any aid she came to operate alone. For the next few weeks, Xanadoth continued to whisper into Bisette's mind as she found the human to be an ideal host for her power. One night, Veronica was in Star City when Xanadoth decided to finally manifest in her body. Upon taking over her body, Bisette served as a representative of Xanadoth where the Lord of Chaos looked to learn what had happened to the world since her imprisonment. Thus, they decided to target the occult shop of Madame Xanadu in order to claim the Breastplate of Hoku. This resulted in a battle between the pair which Xanadoth easily won. It was then that Xanadoth decided to target the Justice League Dark at their headquarters in the Hall of Justice where she easily overpowered them. From there, she broke into Tower of Fate where she looked to claim the Helm of Nabu. This saw her confronting the current Doctor Fate Khalid Nassour and the hero known as Superman. (Superman v5 #23)

Her former status was that Lord of the Lords of Chaos. After being freed, she came to be known as Xanadoth, the Returned. (Superman v5 #23)

Xanadoth was said to be a spirit of a Lord of Chaos. (Superman v5 #23)
Long ago, she came to be trapped within an amulet where she could only free herself if she found a strong and focused spirit to serve as a host vessel with their bond becoming eternal. Even imprisoned within a relic, the power held by Xanadoth radiated outwards and could even be felt by mortals. (Superman v5 #23)
