Enitharmon the Weaver noted that someone greater than him was responsible for weaving the Cloak of Levitation. (Doctor Strange v2 #78)

Following his battle with Khat, the Cloak of Levitation's fabric was damaged and he sought to repair it. He began to search through lore for the origin and creation of the Cloak but was unable to find any information. Strange then decided to use his magic to renew the Cloak himself but this later caused its levitational power to run wild with its lines of force that were normally bound with the fabric lashing out angrily. As a result, he was forced to return the Cloak of Levitation to its ruined state but his later readings of tomes led to him learning of the existence of Enitharmon the Weaver. Strange then departed to find the unbelievable ancient and reclusive being located in another dimension where he found his home on a strange world and asked the Master Weaver to repair the Cloak. Enitharmon agreed to do so and said he would name his price upon completion of the task. (Doctor Strange v2 #78) Once repaired, Enitharmon sent his apprentice Rintrah to take the Cloak of Levitation to Doctor Strange who took the mystic as an apprentice. (Doctor Strange v2 #81)

During the Empirikul's attack on Earth, their forces battled Doctor Strange as part of their campaign to destroy all magic. In the battle, the Cloak of Levitation attacked the Imperator to distract him long enough for th Sorcerer Supreme to gather all the magic he could find to battle the villain. Despite his power, Strange was defeated and magic was purged from the Earth with the Imperator ripping the Cloak in Levitation in half. (Doctor Strange v4 #6)

After it was damaged, Loki weaved together the cloak which he sewed together from Asgardian thread that he spun himself. (Doctor Strange v1 #381)

Whilst attempting to save the Dwarf 'Eoffren from the Majesdanians, Strange and Kanna were nearly captured by the forces of Roxnor the Purifier. To summon aid, Stephen used his magic to bring forth the Cloak of Levitation that was once more back under his command where it helped deal with a few of the attackers. (Doctor Strange v5 #4)
