Biography
Gregory Herd
He came to be employed by Lady Octopus who built advanced battle suits for himself and his wife. This saw him naming himself as Override whilst his wife went by Aura. In this time, the pair teamed up with the Looter where they fought against the Scarlet Spider. (Spectacular Scarlet Spider v1 #1)

As a mercenary, he operated under the name Override where he made use of his cybernetic armature. (Spectacular Scarlet Spider v1 #1)
Powers and abilities
His cybernetic armature gave him the ability to possess or mentally activate any piece of mechanical equipment which he could then turn to his advantage. In addition to vehicles, it was noted that he could commandeer the cybernetics of another person. (Spectacular Scarlet Spider v1 #1)

- Gregory Herd was created by Todd Dezago, Sal Buscema, and Jimmy Palmiotti where he made his first appearance in the Spectacular Scarlet Spider v1 #1 (November, 1995)
- The character later debuted as Shadrac in the Amazing Spider-Man v2 #2 (February, 1999).
