Biography
Michael Morbius
During college, he met Max Modell with the two striking a friendship. (Amazing Spider-Man v1 #679.1)
In an effort to cure himself, he began raiding criminal operations in order to gather supplies he needed to try a cure for himself. This saw him targeting the Melter and he wounded the supervillain after which he created the serum. It seemingly worked on him but the effects were shown to be temporary. (Morbius v1 #1) Afterwards, Morbius found himself attacked by the Melter who was being assisted by a woman later revealed to be Elizabeth Nikos who was the sister of his old friend Emil. (Morbius v1 #2)
