Derek Richardson
Derek Richardson was the British Intelligence agent assigned to meet Michael Corben at the airport in Paris, France. What he got instead as a teenaged American boy. Nevertheless, Richardson assumed this Corben was the Corben, and hurriedly ushered him into a waiting Rolls-Royce which drove them to Intelligence's secret gadget-testing facility, where Richardson introduced Corben to Vendetta Galante and explained "his" mission. After Corben was equipped and left, Richardson remained at the facility and did a background check on Patricia Grober, and came to the conclusion she was an assassin named "the French Teacher."
He sent Kelly to dispose of her, but after calling Corben to inform him of this, was told to call Kelly off. He agreed (of course, it wound up not mattering as she and her entire class were captured by Zigesfeld). When Corben discovered that Augustus Steranko was the mastermind behind the deaths of all the European finance ministers as well as Blade, Richardson was loathe to believe it. However, with some prompting from Vendetta, he took a strike team to the Chatteau Richelieu to investigate - and discovered that Corben was right and had already taken care of Steranko and all of his henchmen.
He and Lieutenant Colonel Larabee of the US Air Force (who had tagged along) then argued over whether Corben was England's or America's operative, only to have Michael explain he had no desire to work for either of them any further.
