Biography

Dr. Wheelo (Japanese: Dr. ドクターウイロー, Hepburn: Dokutā Uirō) was a male human born on Planet Earth where he came to be a brilliant human scientist who performed experiments in biotechnology. Wheelo's ultimate goal was to modify the human race using his science. Before he could realize his goal, he died of natural causes, but his faithful android assistant Dr. Kochin transplanted his mentor's brain into a cumbersome robot body, allowing Wheelo to survive. However, an avalanche of ice and snow sealed him in his laboratory in the Tsurumaitsuburi Mountains.

Dr. Kochin came through for his creator a second time fifty years later when he gathered the Dragon Balls and asked the Eternal Dragon Shenron to thaw the ice-enshrouded fortress. Freed from his frozen sleep, Wheelo became obsessed with finding the world's strongest man so that his own brain might be transplanted into it. He sent Kochin and four Bio-Men to find this man, and at first they thought it was Master Roshi. But when Kishime, Misokatsun and Ebifurya easily beat Roshi, Wheelo realized they had the wrong person.

Roshi, however, did serve a purpose: his capture lured Goku to the Tsurumaitsuburi Mountains. Wheelo, who had learned from Bulma that Goku is the man he sought, sent his biotechnical warriors to defeat Goku so that the brain transplant procedure could begin.

Goku proved to be far too much for the trio to handle, and defeated them with the help of Gohan and Krillin. When Wheelo's further attempts to subdue Goku met with failure, the enraged scientist decided to kill him and all friends. When that also failed, Wheelo, who by this point was completely out of his mind (no pun intended), decided to just concentrate the energy contained within his laboratory's power core to destroy the entire world. Luckily for everyone (and with everyone's help, conversely), Goku was able to form a Spirit Bomb (Genki-Dama) and used it to destroy Wheelo for good.

Overview

Personality and attributes

In appearance, Dr. Wheelo was originally an elderly human man with white mid length hair, a white goatee, a white mustache and a purple left eye. On his right eye he wears a device with a red lens. He wears a white lab coat over a buttoned purple vest. Underneath his vest, he wears a lighter purple shirt wing tip collared over a yellow necktie. He also wears brown pants along with some white and black dress shoes. Attached to his right wrist, he wields a large double blade, reminiscent of his mech form's claws, which he appears to have a mechanical hand inside.

Dr. Wheelo is an intimidating and arrogant being who was once seen as an arrogant lunatic. Due to how the people viewed him in the past, Dr. Wheelo has a strong desire to get revenge. He can also become violent when things don't go according to his plans.

Powers and abilities

Wheelo's brain was transferred to a large and powerful mechanical body to keep him alive. Unlike many other androids Dr. Wheelo's power level was detectable through ki sense. It was shown that his cyborg body was far more powerful than most armored robots.
