Louki
Louki was a Greek man who lived on Navarone, a longtime servant and friend of its owner, Eugene Vlachos. When World War II came to the island in the form of occupation by German and Italian forces, Vlachos fled Navarone for the Middle East, but Louki remained and coordinated Greek resistance against the occupation forces. When Captain Keith Mallory and Lieutenant Andy Stevens came to the island seeking to destroy the dreaded German guns located there, Louki and his friend and fellow resistance fighter Panayis assisted them.
The two Greeks, along with Mallory, Andrea, Casey Brown, Dusty Miller and an injured Stevens were taken prisoner by a German patrol, but ultimately escaped. During Mallory's assault on the gun fortress, Louki and Panayis assisted Brown in causing diversions, and Louki was injured. During this time, Panayis turned out to be a traitor and was killed by Miller. Louki survived his injuries with Brown's help and ultimately was rescued along with the Allied commandos by the Sirdar after the guns were destroyed.
