History
During Dark Reign, Norman Osborn had Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. shut down. It was later reactivated in the aftermath of the War of Kings]] following the opening of a time-space tear called the Fault. Loki freed the Absorbing Man from captivity at Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. Following the Pleasant Hill incident, remaining fragments of the Cosmic Cube were taken by Project P.E.G.A.S.U.S. for study into the possibility of using Isotope-8 as a clean source of energy. Colonel Carol Danvers learnt of the research and had the experiment shut down as a result. (Ultimates v2 #7)
