Biography
Illumi Zoldyck (Japanese: イルミ＝ゾルディック, Hepburn: Irumi Zorudikku) was a male member of the famous Zoldyck Family that consisted almost entirely of highly skilled assassins. He was the eldest child of Silva and Kikyo with him being raised from birth in the art of assassination. Illumi along with his father were both noted to had trained his younger brother Killua Zoldyck in order for him to become an elite assassin.
At some point, he met Hisoka Morow with the two working together on assignments and developing an unusual friendship with one another. Afterwards, Illumi was assigned a task with his target requiring him to operate in areas with impunity which necessitated in him seeking to get a Hunters License. Thus, he used needles to restructure his face whereupon he took on the identity of Gittarackur whereupon he participated in the 287th Hunter Exam.
