Biography

Xanadoth was a female magic being native to the universe where she emerged in the ancient time that was the birth of the Lords of Order and the Lords of Chaos. This was back when the balance of the universe was first negotiated and the lords of it were first chosen. Xanadoth came to be a true Lord of Chaos whose quest for power came to scare her fellow kin. In fact, the impact of her made the mortal world virtually unlivable. The nature of the threat posed by her led to the Lords of Order and Chaos deciding to work together for the one and only time to stop the threat of Xanadoth. Overpowering her, they came to imprison the Lord of Chaos within a relic that took the form of a spike which had been forged from powers that were no longer in existence. The spike was then buried on Earth where Xanadoth was forgotten where her power and control over the Lords of Order and Chaos had ended. (Superman v5 #24)

Department of Extranormal Operations agent Veronica Bisette came to acquire the relic holding Xanadoth and was looking to bring it to headquarters for study as it was unlike anything they had encountered before. This was around 3 weeks ago where she was set to meet with Mister Bones only for the D.E.O. headquarters suffer an attack from Leviathan that seemingly destroyed the government agency HQ. In the aftermath, the relic bonded to agent Bisette's arm and saved her life from the destruction at the scene. As a result, Xanadoth came to speak into the human's mind where without any aid she came to operate alone. For the next few weeks, Xanadoth continued to whisper into Bisette's mind as she found the human to be an ideal host for her power. One night, Veronica was in Star City when Xanadoth decided to finally manifest in her body. Upon taking over her body, Bisette served as a representative of Xanadoth where the Lord of Chaos looked to learn what had happened to the world since her imprisonment. Thus, they decided to target the occult shop of Madame Xanadu in order to claim the Breastplate of Hoku. This resulted in a battle between the pair which Xanadoth easily won. It was then that Xanadoth decided to target the Justice League Dark at their headquarters in the Hall of Justice where she easily overpowered them. From there, she broke into Tower of Fate where she looked to claim the Helm of Nabu. This saw her confronting the current Doctor Fate Khalid Nassour and the hero known as Superman. (Superman v5 #23)
