Biography
Erik Selvig was a male human of Scandinavian origin who as a child grew up on stories about Norse myth of the gods of Asgard. By adulthood, he came s professor of Theoretical Astrophysics at Culver University. During this time, he looked into the nature of Gamma Radiation and met Bruce Banner who was a victim of one such accident involving it. At some point,this, he encountered S.H.I.E.L.D. when they confiscated some documents that belonged to a friend. At school, he met both Jane Foster and her father with him being a close friend of their family. He later travelled with Jane Foster and Darcy Lewis where they studied thermonuclear astrophysics.
