The Living Assault Weapons (L.A.W.) was a task force consisting of superpowered beings and vigilantes that were formed into a team of heroes by the U.S. government. (Living Assault Weapons v1 #2) Their origins were traced to the activities of the supervillain '''Avatar''' who was a powerful mystical being where his abilities allowed him to deal with the [[Justice League]]. This saw him approaching their [[Justice League Watchtower]] on the Moon and cause it to disappear leaving Earth helpless as its premiere team of superheroes had gone missing. Origin

The Living Assault Weapons (L.A.W.) was a task force consisting of superpowered beings and vigilantes that were formed into a team of heroes by the U.S. government. (Living Assault Weapons v1 #2) Their origins were traced to the activities of the supervillain Avatar who was a powerful mystical being where his abilities allowed him to deal with the Justice League.
