History

The Conglomerate were a super-powered team of individuals that were assembled by Claire Montgomery where they were set up to represent corporate America and to serve as competition to the Justice League International. Montgomery was able to gather support from various companies that included LexCorp, Stagg Industries, Ferris Aircraft, S.T.A.R. Labs, Pax Entertainment, Dupree Chemical, American Steel, Dante Foods and Over Oil. They came to recruit Booster Gold after he quit the Justice League International and agreed to head the newly formed Conglomerate as their leader. He was then joined by Praxis, Gypsy, Echo, Vapor, Maxi-Man and Reverb. (Justice League Quarterly v1 #1)
