Gozer the Gozerian was a god worshipped in 6000 BC by various primitive cultures including the Hittites and Sumerians. It was an androgynous, sexless being capable of assuming whatever form it desired. Gozer had many aliases throughout the centuries, including Gozer the Destructor and Gozer the Traveller. Gozer hisses menacingly anticipating the Ghostbusters' next move.
Gozer cautiously watches as the Ghostbusters approach.
The Destructor snarls at the Ghostbusters as they walk toward her menacingly.
Gozer hisses as the Ghostbusters open fire.
Gozer leaps to avoid the Ghostbusters attack as Zuul and Vinz Clortho watch her.
Gozer takes a giant leap over the Ghostbusters.
The Ghostbusters turn to look as Gozer lands atop the ceremonial stone altar where her Terror Dogs previously mated.
Gozer stands atop the stone altar as the Ghostbusters prepare to attack again.
The Destructor looks on as the Ghosbusters shoot at her.
Gozer stares at the Ghostbusters, unaffected by their attack.
The Ghostbusters continue their attack as Gozer's body begins glowing.
Gozer vanishes in front of the Ghostbusters.

Zuul and Vinz Clortho finish the demonic summoning ritual by opening the temple doors for their master, Gozer.
After the summoning ritual is complete, Zuul and Vinz get on all fours and transform into Gozers demonic Terror Dogs, abandoning their weak, human bodies in the process
After finally transforming into their Terror Dog forms, Zuul and Vinz Clortho leap to their respective posts inside of the Temple of Gozer, awaiting their master's arrival

Gozer shocks the Ghostbusters with supernatural lightning as her demonic pets look on
Gozer crouches down on all fours and prepares for the Ghostbusters attack
Gozer leaps away from the Ghostbusters attack as her Terror Dogs look up at her
Gozer lands atop the ceremonial altar standing opposite the temple doors. Her Terror Dogs stare intently at the altar as it was where they had mated in their human forms

In the script for Ghostbusters, Gozer was originally to have appeared in the form of Ivo Shandor instead of an anonymous woman.
