History
Eventually, the Neosapiens grew frustrated and angry at their inferior status, and fought a war for independence that only ended with the development of the first Exoframes. The Neosapiens were ultimately granted provisional control of Mars, although they were forbidden to build weapons. However, years later, the charismatic leader Phaeton rallied his people in an invasion of the solar system, using secretly-constructed ships and Exoframes to establish the Neosapien Commonwealth while the Exofleet was occupied battling Jonas Simbacca's pirates.
Eventually, however, a combination of local resistance groups, outside attacks by the returned Exofleet and later the allied Pirate Clans, and increasing dissension among the Neosapien ranks led to the Empire's collapse. At war's end, a batch of Neosapiens was due to be designed that could procreate, while the government of Earth strove to forge a new, balanced peace between humans and Neosapiens.
Background
Neosapiens were a race of genetically engineered humanoids created by humans to work as their servants on Mars. Unlike normal humans, Neosapiens have blue skin, enhanced strength, senses and dexterity, and stand about a foot taller than the average human. However, they were incapable of procreation, and more could only be grown artificially.

Comments
- Although the name "Neosapien" is probably intended to mean "new man," it actually translates to "new thinker"- ironic considering the Neosapiens' lack of creativity.
