Biography
Shen Xorn was a Chinese Mutant with him being the twin brother of Kuan-Yin Xorn. (X-Men v2 #162)
After recovering at the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters, he had engaged in a mental dialogue with Emma Frost allowing her to learn of his past. He revealed that his brother Xorn had been affected by a malevolent force that sought to destroy the X-Men. (X-Men v2 #162)

Powers and abilities
As a Mutant, his power manifested itself in him having a black hole as a brain. It was not known how his brain operated but the intellect was there but was difficult to reach. (X-Men v2 #162) Around his head were gravity and magnetic distortions that were similar to the effects of a black hole. (X-Men v2 #158)
An added power he had was being telepathic allowing to engage in mind conversations with others. (X-Men v2 #162)
If his helmet was broken, Xorn was unable to contain his power as it formed a black hole that sucked anything into it unless another mask was placed over his head. (X-Men v2 #159)

- Shen Xorn was created by Chuck Austen and Salvador Larroca where he made his first appearance in X-Men v2 #157 (July, 2004).
Alternate Versions
- In Ultimate Comics Hawkeye v1 (2011), Earth-1616 showed a character named Shen-Yin also known as Zorn was shown to exist on the Ultimate Marvel. He was created from the Source as part of the super-soldier program with him having a brother named Kuan-Yin. Zorn along with his brother led the group known as the People where he led his faction known as the Eternals. In Ultimate Comics Ultimates v1 (2012), he died in the conflict with the Children of Tomorrow when Zorn led his forces against them after they assassinated one of his followers.
- In New Avengers v3 (2014), Earth-71202 was shown to show another alternate version of Shen-Yin with him being known as Brother Chaos and was a member of the X-Men. His world suffered from a Multiversal Incursion event with him being killed by Thanos's Cabal.
