History
Humanity's Last Stand were an organization that shows violent tendencies towards Mutants and attempted to deal with the threats posed by the superpowered beings. Basion made use of the organization before the creation of Operation: Zero Tolerance which attempted to further discredit mutants in order to give the government the incentive to create a body to deal with Mutants. Their short collaboration with a high ranking government body meant that certain members of the organization wore highly advanced exosuits and were designated as Maulers. They were defeated when Joseph and Rogue destroyed their base.
Overview
Certain agents known as Shepherds were upgraded with Nimrod Sentinel technology and wore armor that masked their true nature. (Uncanny X-Men Annual v1 '95)
