Biography
Isaac Newton
Whilst at home, he was visited by a carriage that took him to Rome where he was shown the secret Immortal City where he was inducted into the Brotherhood of the Shield alongside other candidates by Galileo Galilei. From then, he came to learn about his predecessors secret efforts at expanding science and defending the world against threats such as Galactus. In this time, his mentor Galileo told him that he would not find the answers he was looking for within the cities libraries but rather he had to go out into the world to seek them out. In 1625, he came to travel to the Deviant city of Ashomia where he allowed himself to be captured. Whilst there, the Deviant ruler came to examine his DNA and found it to be interesting. This saw him forcing a mating between Newon and a Deviant woman named Morda who became pregnant with his child. For a time, he lived among their kind but only because he sought to steal their secret knowledge that was contained within their holy book with this being claimed in the name of the Brotherhood. He had this knowledge permanently written in his skin after which he burnt down the city and escaped. (S.H.I.E.L.D. v1 #3)
During his era, he became the noted Sorcerer Supreme with him being declared the greatest magical practitioner during a time when the Ancient One was presumed dead. As a result, he defended Earth from magical entities though he came to see himself imprisoned in this role. It was during this time that he learnt of the 'Word of God' and became fixated on learning its secrets. During an encounter in the Dark Dimension, he fought Doctor Doom who was from the future and also encountered both Doctor Strange as well as Clea. In reality, he had sought out Jowath of the Never Hills but the magical being was mortally wounded by Doctor Doom and died thus taking the secret of the 'Word of God' with him. Sir Newton lost hope in learning it even when he acquired the damaged head of a Doombot in the belief it could have recorded the words but he did not succeed. Instead, he devoted himself back to the Silent Truth of numbers and of destiny. (Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme v1 #5)
He was left to rot within prison when he was approached by a time travelling Merlin who was seeking allies against a threat known as the Forgotten and was looking for Sorcerer Supremes from all points in time. (Doctor Strange and the Sorcerers Supreme v1 #5)
Overview
Personality and attributes
As a young boy, he felt that he had a divine calling and that he had a part in significant events in history. (S.H.I.E.L.D. v1 #3)
According to him, numbers were his first prison that gave him order and structure with the certainty that they provided consuming him. It was this same certainty that became a prison for him but he came to desire not to be caged with the numbers eventually revealing to him the hidden world of magic. It was this path that led to him becoming Sorcerer Supreme but he came to feel that this role was also a prison for himself and wondered if there was anything truly free from being preordained. He came to believe that the 'Word of God' was powerful enough to set him free from fate. Newton believed that he could use them to make himself free to make his mark on the world and become God. After his induction into the Brotherhood, he came under the tutelage of its reigning master Galileo who was noted for his understanding nature. (S.H.I.E.L.D. v1 #3)
Powers and abilities
Within the Brotherhood, Newton came to follow the path of a sorcerer and learnt many secrets of the universe. From the Deviants, he came to learn the Hidden Arts that was knowledge concealed from man which was not science but something sideways, alien and devout. Knowledge from the Deviant's holy book came to be inscribed onto his skin where the Hidden Arts were believed to be the second part of the Five-Fold Understanding. The third part he came to learn was the Secret Alchemy that he gained through his capture of Nostradamus. From this clarity, he gain understanding of the divine structure for ultimate deduction with this being the Quiet Math. It was through this that he gained the final understanding which was the Silent Truth. (S.H.I.E.L.D. v1 #3)

He came to be a member of the Brotherhood of the Shield where over the years he came to usurp control of the secret society and became its master. (S.H.I.E.L.D. v1 #3)
