John Connor

John Connor is a male human character that features in the Terminator series.

Biography

Judgement Day

John Connor was the son of Sarah Connor and a time-travelling Kyle Reese where he was born on February 28, 1985. His birth came as the result of a time paradox where he was born in the time after Judgment Day when Skynet and its army of Terminators had taken over the world. In this time, John Connor came to rise to be the leader of the Resistance where he managed to make them into a potent force against the machines. Such was the danger posed by him that Skynet decided to use newly developed time travel technology to send a T-800 Terminator back in time to eliminate him before his birth. Aware of this fact, John Connor had a soldier named Kyle Reese similarly go back in time to protect his mother. However, in reality, it was to ensure the circumstances of his birth as Kyle Reese was supposed to get Sarah Connor pregnant thus allowing for John Connor to be born. Ultimately, Reese's mission was a success though he was killed by the Terminator with the machine being destroyed in the process. Sarah Connor came to give birth to her son and armed with this knowledge of the future came to protect her child as she looked to prepare him for his future role.

Powers and abilities

One incarnation of him came to be assimilated by a 5000 Terminator thus turning him into a T-3000 man/machine hybrid.
