Origin
They were the embodiment of the beyond where they were the outside in the Wild Space beyond reality. (Captain America and the Mighty Avengers v1 #6)
Beyond
Jason Quantrell hired the scientists of W.E.S.P.E. to build a dimensional portal where they accidently opened a doorway that killed them with the Beyond Corporation coming to Earth. The CEO of Cortex Inc. was replaced with an entity that was part of the living corporation. (Captain America and the Mighty Avengers v1 #6) This creature possessing Quantrell claimed to be one of the friendly members of his kind as they desired to play whilst the others of their kind had much bigger plans. The Beyond Corporation© entity was defeated when the Blue Marvel and his son Dr. Positron opened the dimensional gateway to the Neutral Zone where Kevin Brashear emerged. Keven Bashear was the other son of Blue Marvel who years earlier had been lost in the Neutral Zone and become a powerful cosmic being of the omniverse who forced the Beyond entity back to its realm. Through unknown means, the company came to acquire a damaged Rigellian Recorder that was capable of predicting the future and kept in a remote research facility. However, the site was attacked by Deadpool and the Mercs for Money who manage to retrieve the robot as per their assignment from their employer. (Deadpool & the Mercs for Money v1 #1)
In the last couple of years, they were involved in a spending spree making acquisitions leading to them snatching pieces of other companies such as the Roxxon Energy Corporation and the Brand Corporation. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #75) The Beyond Corporation© was later responsible for claiming some of the property of Parker Industries which included the Spider-Man trademark. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #75) The company came to be inspired by the story of Jason Halifax who was the former C.E.O. of a big oil company whose crimes were forgotten by the public when his mansion was destroyed by Thor Odinson and the Sentry during the Siege of Asgard. This story led to Beyond instituting the Halifax Protocol whereby two new divisions of the company. One was a hero division known to the public which was tasked with creating a corporate controlled superhero and the other was a covert villain division designed with creating supervillains for them. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #88) Beyond then came to hire Ben Reilly to be a corporate sponsored Spider-Man who fought crime and engaged in other activities hosted by the company. (Free Comic Book Day 2021: Spider-Man/Venom v1 #1) This was partly done because they had determined that psychologically he was easy to manipulate. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #85) To begin this new life, Reilly asked for Beyond to wipe out the more problematic memories concerning him briefly being a supervillain so that he could have a fresh start. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #86) Part of this arrangement also involved freeing Janine Godbe from a correctional facility so that she could join her love Ben Reilly and to support him in his superheroic ventures. Overview
They were described as being a reality warping omni-being from outside of reality. The Beyond Corporation© claimed that they were not finite or limited like superheroes and could decide how powerful they wanted to be at any given moment. (Captain America and the Mighty Avengers v1 #7) It was said that they were many that acted as one like a collective and were the embodiment of the beyond. The entities it represented had many goals such as studying other beings or preserving them or simply to play with them. (Captain America and the Mighty Avengers v1 #6) Within a universe, they acted as a multi-national business conglomerate that acted through local agents and made acquisitions from other companies. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #75)
They were said to hold private contract with municipalities across the U.S. where they rehabilitated offenders with extraordinary abilities and those adjacent to them. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #74) One of the divisions of the company was Super Hero Development. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #77) This was known to the company whilst a covert villains division was also present that was responsible for creating supervillains. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #88)

- Pocket Battlefield : an exotic piece of equipment that came from extraterrestrial sources where it was created from retrieved Kree technology. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #78.BEY)
- Halifax Protocol : an initiative designed to create corporate controlled superheroes own by the company whilst also secretly creating supervillains to fight them. (Amazing Spider-Man v5 #88)
- Antimatter Bomb :
For a time, the company's headquarters was a massive invisible flying fortress called State 51 that operated as a headquarters and as a factory. (Nextwave v1 #11) This flying state was procured and used by Machine Man for a time when he began to experience a breakdown. (Marvel Comics Presents v2 #11) Another one of their research facilities was Jackalope that was seemingly decommissioned though in reality was still operational.
