Dr. Shelley
Dr. Shelley was a Russian scientist who worked on the Proteus Project for Brinkstone. He was eaten and his mind absorbed by Charlie when the experiment went wrong. His mind remained conscious within Charlie's, and due to his strong will and great intelligence, he was able to ble to assert dominance over Charlie's consciousness and take over the shark's body, using its shapeshifting abilities to transform its body into his own after the creature ate the heroin-addicted Paul. He tried to warn Alex, Rachel, Mark, Christine and Linda before taking his leave. Eventually, the heroin wore off and Charlie regained total control, and appeared as Shelley to confront and kill Leonard Brinkstone. When Alex killed Charlie by burning it alive, the trapped mind of Shelley was granted the release of death along with Charlie's other past victims.
