Biography
Origin
Leia Skywalker was the daughter of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala with her being the twin sister of Luke Skywalker. She was born in the closing days of the Clone Wars when her dying mother gave birth to her children on Polis Massa. To protect the new born children, it was decided to separate the twins with Leia being given to Bail Organa of Alderaan. After her adoption by Bail Organa, she came to be known as Leia Organa with no one aware of her true origin as she became a Princess of Alderaan.
Rebel Alliance
She was on-board Tantive IV when it was docked inside the Rebel command ship Profundity that participated in an attack on the planet Scarif in order to acquire the plans on an Imperial superweapon called the Death Star. The Rebel fleet was decimated by the arrival of Darth Vader's Star Destroyer who began a boarding action on the disabled command ship. Crewmembers managed to take the stolen Death Star plans to the corvette docked inside which then lanched to escape capture thus starting a search by Darth Vader for the schematics. Leia who was on the ship was given the plans where she believed that it represented hope against the Empire.
New Republic
Afterwards, the Rebel Alliance came to form the New Republic that was the new successor government in the galaxy.
At some point, she became pregnant with her and Han Solo having a son that they named Ben Solo.
She came to find life in the New Republic difficult with Leia becoming more side-lined by the newer generation of political leaders.
This led to her abandoning the New Republic and becoming a leader in the Resistance.
Overview
Personality and attributes
In reality, her true name was Leia Skywalker due to her being the daughter of Anakin Skywalker. In the time of the First Order, she came too be known as General Organa due to her position in the Resistance.
She came to have a son with Han Solo who was named Ben Solo who was strong in the Force.
Powers and abilities
She was regarded as the greatest leader of the Rebel Alliance where she was fearless on the battlefield with her dedicated in ending the Empire's tyranny.

- Princess Leia was created by George Lucas and was portrayed by actor Carrie Fisher where she made her first appearance in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.
Alternate Versions
- In Star Wars Legends, Princess Leia appeared with a different history in the setting of the former Star Wars Expanded Universe. She came to marry Han Solo where the pair came to have three children with these being the twins Jacen Solo and Jaina Solo along with a younger son Anakin Solo.

- In Star Wars: Battlefront II, Princess Leia appeared in the story mode and as a playable character in the multiplayer mode of the 2017 video game where she was voiced by actress Misty Lee.
