Created in 1983 by Games Workshop as part of its Warhammer series, it covered the adventures set on a fantasy world occupied by various races, nations and armies. Since its creation, the setting has received various updates until 10 July 2010 when the final eight edition was released. A series of releases during the 2014-2015 period focused on the End Times that culminated in the destruction of the fictional world setting with the fantasy line being discontinued and replaced with Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.
