Origin
Leia Skywalker was the daughter of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala with her being the twin sister of Luke Skywalker. She was born in the closing days of the Clone Wars when her dying mother gave birth to her children on Polis Massa. To protect the new born children, it was decided to separate the twins with Leia being given to Bail Organa of Alderaan. After her adoption by Bail Organa, she came to be known as Leia Organa with no one aware of her true origin as she became a Princess of Alderaan.
Rebel Alliance
She was on-board Tantive IV when it was docked inside the Rebel command ship Profundity that participated in an attack on the planet Scarif in order to acquire the plans on an Imperial superweapon called the Death Star.
